To my younger english speaking comrades…. the struggle against the Moncola Pact was really the first struggle, and test, for the newly emerged CNT-AIT. It tested the strength of traditional and historical anarcho-syndicalism against those who wanted to «renovate» the CNT-AIT into more of a left wing union. The internal struggles were hot, heavy and have left a wound in the side of Spanish anarcho-syndicalism that can still be felt today. The struggle continues!

A mis jóvenes camaradas angloparlantes… la lucha contra el Pacto de la Mónaco fue realmente la primera lucha, y una prueba, para la recién nacida CNT-AIT. Puso a prueba la fuerza del anarcosindicalismo tradicional e histórico contra quienes querían «renovar» la CNT-AIT para convertirla en un sindicato de izquierdas. Las luchas internas fueron intensas y profundas, y han dejado una herida en el anarcosindicalismo español que aún se siente hoy. ¡La lucha continúa!
